ECA Academics

ECA strives for Academic Excellence by relying on advanced curriculum and the best classroom environment possible.
Grades K5-3 utilize the A Beka curriculum for all course work while grades 4-9 continue to utilize A Beka and add BJU Press for Reading and Grammar and Saxon for Math.
Small Class sizes give the teachers at ECA the opportunity to focus on the individual needs of each student to ensure their academic success.
The Elementary School (K5-5th grade) provides a secure, stimulating and friendly environment for childhood years. Students spend most of their time with the classroom teacher, with the support from specialist teachers.
The Middle School (6-9) gives special attention to the needs of adolescents. As the students progress through the middle school years, they are introduced to the team-teaching concept. They experience the specialty of each teacher that encourages the students to move towards independence with confidence.
Computer, Music, Spanish, Physical Education & Art classes are taught to all students K5 through 9th grades.
Below is a graph from Spring 2006 showing ECA’s performance in the Stanford Achievement Test, which is a standardized test taken by Christian schools worldwide.
